World’s top 5 mobile brands list unveiled

A latest data says Samsung, Xiaomi, Apple, Oppo and Vivo are the top five global smartphone brands.

According to data from Canalys, Samsung has ranked first with 19 per cent market share of shipments, while Vivo has ranked fifth in global smartphone shipments with a market share of 10 per cent in the second quarter of 2021, up 27 percent year on year.

Vivo said it has branched out its sales network across more than 50 countries and regions, and is loved by more than 400 million users worldwide.
