Lenovo logs 31% growth in India in June quarter

PC major Lenovo registered approximately $462 million in revenue for all group businesses in India for the June quarter, representing year-on-year growth of 31.3 percent, as demand for digital devices to maintain work-life balance continued to surge amid the second Covid wave, the company said on Wednesday.

In India, Lenovo saw steady growth throughout the past fiscal year and delivered an exceptionally strong performance this past quarter.

We saw strong demand across businesses in India over the past year, and the first quarter this year did exceptionally well. As individuals, companies, and institutions address the demands of the ongoing pandemic, they are transforming their relationship with technology, said Shailendra Katyal, Managing Director, Lenovo PCSD India and Site Leader, Lenovo India.
