Rajini pays tribute to Puneeth Rajkumar

Actor Rajinikanth today condoled the death of Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar.

In a audio message on the social media platform Hoot, Rajini said, ‘ I still cannot accept that you are no more Puneeth…Rest in peace my child.’

‘I was discharged from hospital recently and I am doing good. Puneeth’s demise was informed to me only a few days ago. He is such a great talent. I saw him growing up before my eyes. His demise is a great loss to Kannada film industry’.

Puneeth passed away due to heart attack on 29 October. People from all walks of lives paid their tribute to him.

Meanwhile Rajini’s Annaathe directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Sun Pictures is said to have collected in excess of rupees hundred crores in Tamilnadu alone and the same number in overseas too making it a industry hit.
