TN inks pact for 6 warehousing projects

Welspun One Logistics Parks (WOLP), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Guidance – the Government of Tamilnadu’s nodal agency for investment promotion and single window facilitation – to set up warehousing facilities across the state.

Under this MOU, a total of six projects have been proposed in prime warehousing micro markets like Hosur, Sriperumbudur and Thiruvallur; totalling a development potential of approximately 8 million sq. ft. across a span of five years. The projects will bring direct investments of approximately Rs 2500 crore to Tamilnadu, said a press release.

Meanwhile, TVS Motor Company announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the government of Tamilnadu for investment in Future Technologies and Electric Vehicle.
