I-T raids continue in TN for 2nd consecutive day

Income Tax Income Tax investigators, who on Wednesday morning started a search operation in multiple premises linked to Saravana Selvarathinam and Super Saravana Store in Chennai and other parts of Tamilnadu, continued it for the second consecutive day today.

The searches were being conducted at eight places in Chennai and six in other districts, including Coimbatore and Madurai.

Over 100 officials were engaged in this operation. The Investigation Wing of the department did not share any details pertaining to seizures or the raids but said the raids were still continuing. Customers were not permitted to enter the stores.
