People must wear masks in public as Covid cases rise: Stalin

As the spread of Covid is on the rise in Tamil Nadu, Chief Minister MK Stalin has been holding consultations with health officials and district Collectors on prevention measures at the Chennai General Secretariat.

The consultation meeting is being held as the spread of Covid is increasing across various states.

It has been reported that key decisions are being made regarding corona prevention measures and the imposition of additional restrictions.

Speaking at the meeting, Chief Minister MK Stalin said, “People must be prepared to face any situation. The challenge before us is to ensure that those who are not vaccinated are vaccinated. In Tamil Nadu, booster dose vaccination has been given to 41.66 per cent people. The spread of the disease has increased in many states in the last one week. District collectors must take action to ensure that people wear masks.
