Covid cases rise in Anna varsity campus

Two more cases of Covid was reported in Anna University campus here taking the tally to 11.

Health secretary J Radhakrishnan yesterday inspected testing of students at the campus.

Currently, all of those confirmed with corons are stable, a press release here said.

It may be noted that as many as 196 cases of Covid were reported in IIT-Madras last month.

To prevent any further spread of the virus in the campus, contact tracing, testing of asymptomatic people, and saturation tests will also be done, sources in the health department said.
