Mohammed Siraj hopes for strong comeback in England Test

Selected in India’s Test squad for the rescheduled fifth Test against England to be played in Birmingham from July 1-5, pacer Mohammed Siraj feels he will have to work hard in the next few weeks on his form and fitness to bowl consistently long spells in the five-day game.

Siraj has had an lacklustre Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season for Royal Challengers Bangalore and is looking to make a strong comeback with the red ball. With the T20 World Cup 2022 scheduled in Australia later this year, Siraj will be hoping to do well enough in England to get a chance in white-ball cricket too.
