Despite his controversial past involving drug charges and imprisonment, the former BIGBANG rapper secured the most votes. His unpredictable and humorous performance captured the audience’s hearts, proving his acting prowess.

Park Sung-Hoon, who portrayed Player 120, a transgender character, came in second with 23% of the votes. Jo Yu-Ri, playing the pregnant Player 222, secured third place with 19%.

Why the Name ‘Thanos’?
Director Hwang Dong-Hyuk revealed in a Netflix video the reason behind the character’s unique name. “I chose ‘Thanos’ to create a globally loved character. It’s not a typical rapper name, but the personality I envisioned made it fitting,” Hwang explained.

T.O.P.’s Upcoming Interview
After being kept away from promotional activities, T.O.P. is set to address the media for the first time since Squid Game 2’s release. According to OSEN, the actor initially hesitated but is now prepared to discuss his performance and past controversies. The interview is scheduled for January 15.
