Choo Young-Woo, known for his role in The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, recently addressed the controversy surrounding his Instagram following list. The actor faced criticism after netizens noticed he was following certain influencers and streamers with controversial backgrounds.
Among those followed were rapper Jung Sang-Soo, known for legal troubles including DUIs and assault, as well as AfreecaTV broadcasters associated with explicit content. Though Choo promptly unfollowed them, the issue had already gained public attention.
During a recent interview on February 5, Choo issued a public apology, stating, “I should have been more careful with my actions and choices. I did not have any special intentions behind my following list, but I now realize the importance of being more mindful.”
