The tragic passing of actress Kim Sae-Ron has left a deep void in the entertainment industry. On February 17, a private memorial was held at Seoul Asan Medical Center funeral hall, where AKMU’s Suhyun and her brother Chanhyuk paid their final respects. The actress’s family had requested privacy, with a representative stating, “The bereaved family does not wish for media coverage of visitors.”

A Bond Beyond the Spotlight

Suhyun and Kim Sae-Ron shared a strong friendship, having met during their time at YG Entertainment. Their connection extended beyond work, with Suhyun once revealing that they were so close they even shared home passcodes in a group chat. They frequently spent time together, with Kim Sae-Ron cooking while Kim Bo Ra handled household chores.

A Quiet Farewell

Several actors, including Won Bin, Han So Hee, and Kim Bo Ra, were also present at the memorial, offering condolences. Suhyun, who had remained silent on social media, chose to grieve privately before attending the service.

Kim Sae-Ron was found deceased at her Seongdong-gu residence on February 16. A friend discovered her body around 4:45 PM, and no suicide note was found.
