Ajith Kumar Opposes ‘Kadavule Ajithey’ Chants

In December 2021, actor Ajith Kumar had requested fans, media, and the public to refer to him simply by his name, avoiding any prefixes like “Thala.” While many respected his wishes, a new chant, “Kadavule… Ajithey,” has gained traction recently, prompting the actor to issue a strong statement condemning the practice.

Through his PRO Suresh Chandra, Ajith addressed the matter, expressing his discomfort with superlatives or prefixes used alongside his name. His statement read, “The slogan ‘Kadavule… Ajithey’ has been publicly recited at various events. I prefer being addressed by my name or initials and request all to stop this immediately.”
