Bollywood pays tribute to Dilip Kumar

Soon as the news of veteran actor Dilip Kumar broke out, several fans and members of Bollywood film fraternity including Akshay Kumar, Manoj Bajpayee and others offered their condolences on social media.

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan penned a heartfelt note for the star. He wrote that he is deeply saddened by the loss and that an institution has gone. His full note read as, ‘T 3958 – An institution has gone .. whenever the history of Indian Cinema will be written , it shall always be ‘before Dilip Kumar, and after Dilip Kumar’ .. My duas for peace of his soul and the strength to the family to bear this loss .. Deeply saddened ..(sic).’

Ajay Devgn, who was privileged to have shared a moment with Dilip Kumar expressed his sorrow and mourned the look as he posted a picture with the late actor and said, ‘Shared many moments with the legend…some very personal, some on stage. Yet, nothing really prepared me for his passing away. An institution, a timeless actor. Heartbroken. Deepest condolences to Sairaji’.
