Don’t use my name, pic for LB polls: Rajinikanth

Months after he announced that he won’t enter politics and stayed away from Assembly polls, actor Rajinikanth has reportedly urged his fans not to use his name, fans association flag for forthcoming local body polls.

He is learnt to have instructed members of hisbfans association not to contest polls and not to use his picture for campaign.

Remember a few years ago, Rajinikanth announced entering politics and said he would contest Assembly elections in 2021. But he backtracked stating that situation was not conducive aa Covid broke out. He even wrote a letter to his fans stating reasons why he chose the decision.

The actor was last seen in Annaathae, directed by Siruthai Siva.
