Dragon Now Streaming on Netflix After Blockbuster Run

After a record-breaking theatrical run, Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon has premiered on Netflix. The Tamil film, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, earned Rs 150 crore and is now available in multiple languages.
Tamil Cinema’s Biggest Hit of 2025 Arrives on OTT
After making history as the highest-grossing Kollywood film of 2025, Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon has finally arrived on Netflix. The Tamil blockbuster, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, released in theatres on February 21, 2025, and collected a whopping Rs 150 crore at the box office.
Netflix, the official streaming partner, announced the digital release on social media, featuring a special message from Pradeep Ranganathan. In a video, the actor said, “I hope many of you watched Dragon, but for those who missed it, you can now watch it on Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. If you’ve already seen it, feel free to watch it again!”

The film received massive love from Telugu audiences as well. Pradeep expressed gratitude, stating, “We were overwhelmed by the response. Anupama’s role has been widely appreciated, and fans are even calling me the ‘adopted son of the Telugu film industry.’”
Produced by AGS Entertainment, Dragon features an ensemble cast including Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, K. S. Ravikumar, and George Maryan. The story follows a college dropout who lands a high-paying job, only to be confronted by his past, forcing him to change his ways.
With its streaming debut, Dragon is set to reach an even larger audience, continuing its phenomenal success beyond theatres.
