James Gunn Shares New Superman Poster & Teaser Ahead of Trailer Release

The wait is almost over! James Gunn has unveiled the first official poster for his upcoming Superman film, featuring David Corenswet as the Man of Steel. Alongside the poster, Gunn shared a brief teaser announcing that the first official trailer will drop this Thursday.

This film is the first feature-length entry in DC’s new era, Chapter One: Gods and Monsters, helmed by Gunn and Peter Safran. The chapter launched with the R-rated animated series Creature Commandos and now sets the stage for a younger Superman’s story.

The movie follows Clark Kent as he navigates the complexities of his Kryptonian heritage and human upbringing. Written and directed by Gunn, the star-studded cast includes Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. Other cast members include Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., and Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, aka the Green Lantern.
