Although the soundtrack by AR Rahman evokes a sense of nostalgia the first half of the film is deemed unimpressive as it mostly focuses on establishing the character of Kamal Haasan. The pace speeds up in the second half, presenting a more engaging social drama.

While Anirudh Ravichander’s background score is unimpressive, Siddharth’s performance is outstanding. Fans are particularly let down by the weak screenplay, missing the touch of writer Sujatha, who was crucial to Shankar’s earlier successes.

Despite having a promising crew that includes Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek, Priya Bhavani Shankar, SJ Suryah, and Bobby Simha. Reviews for ‘Indian 2’ have been conflicting overall. Even if it occasionally glows, it falls short of the legacy left by its predecessor. Movie buffs continue to debate the film passionately, leaving fans disappointed.
