In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Sania confirmed ongoing chatter about the idea of a biopic. “A biopic has been on the cards, a lot of people have been talking about it. But I haven’t had offers lately,” she shared, humorously adding that her managers might have withheld such news.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan previously expressed interest in producing a film on Sania’s life. During the launch of her biographical book Ace Against Odds in 2016, Khan said, “A movie on Sania would be inspiring and fantastic. I’d even play her love interest if she allows me, but I’d definitely produce it.”

Last year, during her Netflix appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, Sania playfully said she’d consider playing herself in the biopic if Shah Rukh was involved. She also suggested Deepika Padukone or Parineeti Chopra to portray her on-screen.
