Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 4: Akshay Kumar’s Film Sees 77% Drop, Earns ₹6 Crore
28 January 2025, 2:09 pmSky Force faces a sharp drop in earnings on its first Monday but continues to perform well, nearing ₹100 crore worldwide.
Sky Force, the high-budget aerial action drama starring Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya, experienced a significant drop in box office collections on its first Monday after a strong opening weekend. Despite the drop, the film is still moving towards the ₹100 crore mark, with its domestic collection standing at ₹68.50 crore after four days.
The film had a strong opening weekend, raking in over ₹60 crore. However, the drop on Monday was substantial, as expected after the Republic Day holiday. On its fourth day, Sky Force registered a 77% decrease in earnings, bringing in ₹6.25 crore compared to ₹28 crore on Sunday. This drop was a clear indicator that the film faced the usual post-holiday slowdown, but it is still performing well.

Internationally, Sky Force has earned an additional $800K (approximately ₹6.5 crore) in its first opening weekend. The total worldwide box office collection stands at around ₹90 crore after four days.
Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, Sky Force is loosely based on the 1965 Indo-Pakistani air war’s Sargodha airbase attack. Along with Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya, the film stars Sara Ali Khan, Sharad Kelkar, and features a cameo by Nimrat Kaur. With strong word-of-mouth and positive reviews, the film’s makers hope to see a recovery in earnings as it continues its box office run.
