Thalapathy Vijay, Tamil cinema’s celebrated actor-turned-politician, has unveiled the second look of his highly anticipated film, Jana Nayagan (People’s Hero), marking his 69th and final release. Directed by H. Vinodh and produced by KVN Productions, this Tamil political action thriller is scheduled for a pan-India release on October 17, 2025.
The latest poster, shared on Vijay’s Instagram on Republic Day, features him holding a rope with a smile, dressed in an all-black outfit. The motion picture includes the phrase “Nan Aanai Ittal” (If I Command), hinting at the film’s political undertones. Fans were quick to celebrate the reveal, with Vijay captioning the post, “#JanaNayaganSecondLook.”
Jana Nayagan portrays Vijay as a “torchbearer of democracy,” resonating with his recent political journey as the leader of Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK). The star-studded cast includes Prakash Raj, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priyamani, and Pooja Hegde.
