Yaanai – Movie Review

Yaanai action drama film written and directed by Hari and produced by Vedikkaranpatti S. Sakthivel of Drumsticks Productions. The film stars Arun Vijay, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani and Yogi Babu, with Ammu Abhirami, Ramachandra Raju, Raadhika Sarathkumar and V. I. S. Jayapalan in supporting roles.The film’s music and score is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, with cinematography handled by Gopinath and editing done by Anthony.

Story
Yaanai is based in the coastal areas of Rameshwaram and Dhanushkodi, and focuses on a family where Arun Vijay plays the last brother born to Radhika, the second wife of Rajesh. The family is knit together by their businesses, and their long list of commitments, but have a scare in the form of the opposite gang led by Ram, and have scares due to his presence coming back from jail.
