Showrunners Jeff Trammell and Mel Zwyer revealed in an exclusive interview that the series draws inspiration from past comics, cartoons, and films, particularly the ’90s Spider-Man series and Spectacular Spider-Man. The story picks up after Captain America: Civil War, aligning Peter Parker’s journey with the MCU timeline while allowing for fresh storytelling.
