Netflix has taken a monumental leap into live programming with its latest deal to stream WWE’s flagship show, Raw. The deal also includes rights to Smackdown and WrestleMania, marking a new era for both WWE and the streaming giant.

Starting Monday, Raw will air live on Netflix across the U.S., Canada, Latin America, and other key regions, with plans to expand to India by April 2025. Despite Netflix’s limited experience with live events, WWE’s chief content officer, Paul Levesque, expressed confidence, saying, “If it blinks a couple of times but brings in 60 million viewers, it’s a win.”

The first episode under Netflix will kick off in Los Angeles, featuring appearances by WWE icons like John Cena, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes. With over 1 billion followers across social media, WWE’s move to Netflix is expected to draw a massive global audience.
