Uruguay, Paraguay post wins in Copa

A Jairo Quinteros (40’) own goal and an Edinson Cavani (79’) strike helped Uruguay post a 2-0 Copa America win over Bolivia in Cuiaba on Thursday.

Having secured its first win, Uruguay, with four points from three matches, qualified for the quarter-finals from Group A. Paraguay also sealed its spot in the last-8 following a 2-0 Group A success over Chile in Brasilia. Paraguay now has six points from three games.
