AIADMK to boycott TV debate shows

AIADMK has issued a press release stating that the party will boycott political debates in various Tamil TV channels with immediate effect.

In a joint statement, EPS and OPS said, ‘The channels which are part of the press, which ia the fourth pillar of democracy, has been holding shows allegedly aimed at tarnishing image of the AIADMK. They avoid issues affecting normal lives of people. They title debates in such a way to bring disrepute to AIADMK. Hence we have chosen not to attend’.

Also no one claiming to be AIADMK should be allowed to appear in debates, the release said.
