Health Minister inspects covid relief works

Health Minister Ma Subramanian visited the Covid patients and inspected the contact tracing at a cluster area identified in the Adyar Zone of the Greater Chennai Corporation. He visited the patients in home isolation and enquired about their health.

The Health Minister said that the number of Covid cases are rising worldwide and about 7-8 States in the country have reported 1,000 to 5,000 infections in the last 24 hours. The daily numbers are rising from 80,000 to 1 lakh in several countries.

As per the instructions of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, measures have been taken to prevent the spread of Covid, and inspection of various districts, including Salem and Namakkal was conducted recently. Consultations have been carried out in those districts regarding preventive measures with the district level health officers.
