Vaccination to resume as doses reach Chennai

With fresh doses of Covid-19 vaccines reaching Chennai, the city Corporation would resume the jab process.

According to Greater Chennai Corporation Commissioner Gagandeep Singh Bedi, we will immediately distribute the fresh doses to vaccination centres and will also update the status on the website.

Officials however said that Tamilnadu needs more doses of vaccine which they expect in the days to come.

Vaccination grinded to a slow halt in Chennai earlier this week as the city ran out of vaccine stocks once again. Officias said that in fact the entire State was running out of vaccine stocks.
